ABOUT<\/strong><\/p>\n Southern Indiana-based artist working with oils, acrylics, mixed media, and pastels<\/p>\n Member of Hoosier Art Salon<\/p>\n Works featured with Louisville Art Group<\/p>\n ARTIST STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n As an artist, specifically as a realist, I strive to portray the emotion of a scene. There is beauty all around us, if we just take the time to notice it. I often find myself thinking \u201cCould I capture that on canvas? How would I go about it?\u201d My hope is that the viewer will, in their way, begin to grasp the feeling that the inspiration gives me.
